I am a psychoanalyst, supervising clinical counselor, educator, and owner of a private psychotherapy practice in Cleveland, Ohio. I specialize in working with adults of all ages who are struggling with depression, anxiety, problems in relationships, loss and grief, or complicated decision-making, along with many other problems, both familiar and unusual.
While flexible in my approach, I find the psychodynamic psychotherapies most useful because they are oriented to deeper personal understanding, while also fostering better coping. My work with each person evolves uniquely, in the context of a safe, supportive environment. Currently, I am providing services virtually by phone or video.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor with extensive post-graduate education and training as a psychoanalyst. I have over 40 years of working with clients of all ages, serve on the faculty of the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center, and taught psychiatry residents at Cleveland medical education programs for many years.
